FREEDOM FOR JEWS BY CONSTITUTION
Vienna, Mar, 23. The old Hapsburg Laws, for bidding the return to Austria of members of a former ruling Houge, will not appear in the new Con- stitution of the Austrian Republic, declared Prince von Starhemberg. youthful leader of the Heimwehr and chief lieutenant of Chancellor' Dollfuss, when he was addressing today the Anglo-American Press Association.
Prince von Starhemberg, who personally led his Heimwehr troops in charges against. the on- tronched Communists during the recent Austrian civil strife, de nounced methods of force against the Jews.
The policy of the Nazi regime in Germany he did not applaud. The Jows, he said, under Austria's new Constitution, would be given a chanco of full citizenship and only driven out of the country if it were proved that they placed the interests of international Jewry before those of Austria.- Reuter Special.
