LADIES HOCKEY SEASON COMES TO CLOSE
HONGKONG CLUB WIN CAER CLARK CUP FOR FIFTH YEAR
REVIEW OF THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS
(By RIL.B.)
It seems scarcely adequate, merely to extend hearticat con gratulations to the Hongkong Ladies Hockey Club on winning the coveted Caer Clark Cop for the fourth year in succession. In fact, they have had it in their custody since its inception in 1929, But we must also give a big hand to the St. Andrew's Club Ladies, most gallant contenders, who after losing the Lady Southern Cup for runners-up last season, have regained it this year, finishing up only one point behind the Champions.
On an occasion, like this, - whồn | H.K.L.H.C. the curtain is drawn on yet another succesful season of ladies' tourna- ment hockey, an expression of gruti- tude is due to Mr. Cher Clark, the generous donor of the cup. The Caer Clark tournament has grown by leaps and bounds and is looked forward to from season to season

THE WHOLE STORY.
This is the tale of City's rise to the anal twice in successiva šcasons.
Immediately after the kick-off there were a few exchanges in mid-field; before Bray on the City left wing | received the ball and carried it well up the field. He centred and Toneland, the City left winger rushed in to net, the first goal of the match.
Jubilant at this early success, the City forwards pressed with the greatest determination and a surprised defence crumpled up under the on- slaught. First Tilson added a goal from a brilliantly taken kick; thep Herd' added a third; and Tilson piled
