ELVIN'S BOWLING SUCCESS FOR THE ARMY
JOYOUS CRICKET AT K.C.C.-
(By R. Abbit)
I was not very hard put to it. last week to select my double. The Indian Recreation Club beat the Civil Service and the Army defeated the University in time to get back and see some of the racing!
The 1.R.C. and Civil Service game was rather a foregone con- clusion. The Civil Service sadly want another good bowler to help Baker out. They have a lot of fair change bowlers but I do not think any of them should bowl more than three overs running.
I had great hopes of Perry but he has falled to find a length. Reed has only played once and I do not expect to see him out regularly-which is "bnd luck for the Civil Service.
