Paris, Feb. 21.

It was intimated in the Chamber of Deputies last night that the French Goy- ernment has no intention of following the British and American policies of in- fluencing commodity prices by currency control.

The Government's policy neeks In adjustment of the level of internal and external prices but without currency, manipulation.

The method was enunciated by the Finance Minister, M. Germain Martin, in the course of a speech in which he declared that internal account of prices were high on agricultural protection and the re- sults of the war.
