(By Will Smith)
In to-day's exclusive billiarde article, Willie Smith, the English champion, reveals the secret of correctly using the short rest.
It will be useful if I devote an article to instruction on how to use the short rest. I hold the rest firmly on the table with my left hand. Firmly it must be. If the rest moves in the slightest degres when the cục is being delivered for the stroke, accurate cueing and de- livery is impossible, and the result will be a missed shot.
