The Navy garnered valuable points in a first division match against East Lancs at Kowloon yesterday and as a result move up to third position in the table, with only goal average dividing them and St. Joseph's.

They attacked continually in the first half, and only the timely intervention of Harmsworth In goal stopped them from crossing over with more than a single goal lead,
Nevertheless. Harmsworth was at fault with the first goal, when he misjudged a dropping shot from Fairless and allowed the ball to pass over the line.
