boxing promoter brought to an ugly end the 12 rounds contest between Midget Wolgast, the American, and Church Jackie Brown, holder of the Mullane Flyweight Championship of the Welsh world, staged at the Albert Hall last month.

Wolgast won on points, and at the end a score of men from the north, who, it was plain, had backed Brown to win, made a concerted rush and an atttack on Mr. Jeff Dickson, the promoter of the fight.
