S.W.B. INTER-COMPANY FOOTBALL FINAL
HAZLEWOOD'S GREAT DISPLAY
Hazlewood, the Borderers first division league player, figured prominently in the victory of the "C" Company against the "B" Company in the final of the S.W.B. Inter-Company football competition yesterday.
Besides scoring one of the four goals, he presented gift openings to his colleagues by means of clover passing and intricate footwork.
Podmore and ho men could find no effective means of stopping Hazlewood, who did almost what ho liked.
Morria was an energetic leader for the winners, helping himwolf to two goals, whilst Morgan play- ed his part in scoring the fourth.
Hurns at right half was out-
atanding for the "B" Company, whilst Suter, steady as n rock, defended with consummate skl.

London, Whatever happens to Larwood's damaged foot, he is not going out of cricket.
If he must never again how] fast, then he will bowl alow. Ho has made up his mind about that. And why should ho not be a good, spinner of the ball?
"It would be nothing fresh if he made good with a new method. Several who put their faith in speed the beginning of their careers have met with increased success after they reduced their
race.
Schofield, Halgh, D. J. T. Bos- anquet, and R. O. Schwarz, both pincers of the googly, and Leon- ard Braund, whose alow leg breaks helped to win Test matches, all bowled fast when they first play- ed for their counties.
