Their first annual state champion- ship tournament was held recently at Fort Thomas, and 1 thoroughly pleased with the fine exhibition of contrset bridge 'play- ed in this tournament.

The Play

South's best play was to discardi a diamond. West trumped with! the five of hearts and then led the Jack of diamonds, overtaking in the dummy with the king. The ten of diamonds was returned and the! losing club discarded.
