London, Nov. 19. The "kidnapping" of a naval guard on the high seas by a trawler, which led to a hide-and- seek dance with a gunbont and destroyer, provided a twenty-four hour comedy for all except the Admiralty,

Two British trawlers, the Lucida and the Gwenllinn were spotted in allegedly prohibited waters of the Outer Hebrides and were ordered to heave to by the .gunboat. A loading seaman boarded the Lucida, which · Immediately aped off at full speed.
