Solution to Previous Contract Problem

West can hardly be criticized for doubling a five diamond con track on the following problem hand. However Mr. John Ras youngest player over to win a national championship, was auc- cessful in making the contract.

The Bidding

South bid one heart. West passed and North bid two dia. unds. South bld three clubs. North bld three no trump and South bid four clubs. North bid four diamonds and South went to five diamonds. West doubled and Mr. Ray in the North doubled.
