CORRESPONDENCE
Plenic for Blind,
Sir, The Committee respon- Bible for the organisation of the plenic for the Girls of the Blind Homo, Pokfulam, wish to thank all those who assisted in any way to make it tho happy event it was. Elghtoon motor cars, kindly lent by friends, loft the Home at 3 p.m., for Shek O via Tytam. On arriving at Island Bay some girls preferred to sit on the rocks and chatter, while the more ven- turesome ones wont paddling led by willing helpers. In the meantime our Chairman, with the help of two scouts whe dealing with tea-urns. It was only the premise of tea that cn- abled us to get the girls out of j the water;
Toa for our Blind Gucats fol- lowed by tea for helpers, and then the distribution of gifts of stock- ings, soap, towels, handkerchiefs and sweats, brought the picnic to a close. We drove back to the Blind Home where a supper of chicken was, provided.
