MOLLISONS FAIL TO LEAVE GROUND

Toronto, Oct. 3.. James and Amy Mollison, world- famous British fliera, found their attempts at a record-breaking distance fight dogged by bad luck again to-day when their plane, Seafarer 11, failed to take off from the flying field at Wasaga Beach, near Collingwood, Ontario. Regently, at the completion of n westward Atlantic crossing,, the Mollisons were injured when their plane crashed just outside New York. This mishap spolled their plan to return together across the Atlantic and attempt to reach Baghdad.

At present they are bound for Baghdad when, and if, they are able to rise with their 600 gallons of special English petrol.

They taxied, along the beach for over half a mile, but each time failed to lift the Seafarer off the ground. The engine stalled at the end of the first rus. The second run was equally unsuccess- ful. They could not rise an inch. Router.
