Sonator Harrison said: "Com- modity pricca must rise. Tam in "via Biberia" if so superscribed. favour of some form of rational Inflation. We have got to do more than wo are doing. This will help both the bankers and the farmers. Shanglini The lattor are the ones who really need help now."
Sonator Harrison's suggestion to the President is believed to bo significant in view of the recent relapse of business activity and commodity prices.
Meanwhile the critical state of President Roosevelt's "Prospority Drive" is Indicated by the poor response to General Johnson's strenuous "Buy Now" campaign.
The increase in wage levels has been insufficient to offset the rise in prices and farmers Aro com- plaining that the return for their products is lagging far behind the cost of manufactured goods..
Many observers think that Pro sident Roosevelt will be forced into outright inflation in order to pump purchasing power into the public purse.-Reuter.

To Prevent Dumping On World Market.
Washington, Sept. 13. Tentative plans for the disposal over 30,000,000 bushels of wheat stored along the north-weat Pacific coast are announced by the Farm Adjustment Board.
Export Associations will play a big part in the disposal. It 18 estimated that China will take 15,000,000 bushels; Japan 12,000, 000; Ireland a possible 6,000,000. It is expected that the Secre tary of Agriculture, Mr. Wallace, will approve of the plan.
The vast store of wheat has been a constant threat to prices.
