Cricket: Both our 1st and 2nd XI's tried very hard to capture the Senior and Junior Shields for the third year in succession, but found the task too difficult for them, If it is any can solation to them, it may be added that the opposition was very strong. The 1st XI were engaged in seven Lengue matches, of which they won five and lost two, while of the nine League matches the 2nd XI were engaged in, they won only live, drew one and lost three. A. Minu hended the Batting Averages in the 1st XI for the first time in his career with 16.28, and Mr. A. H. Madar was runner-up with 15.0.
