The Peninsula is well serted in the matter of taxi services, and the latest innovation, small vehicles nt mcdest fares, is proving most popular. Intended for two pas Eengers, the fare, is fixed at thirty cents for the first mile and five cents for each subsequent quarter of a mile. It is to be hoped that the system will be introduced on the Island, for it does offer an effective solution to the ricksha problem.
