INSULATED SOVIET AMBASSADOR

Tsingtao, Aug. 3.- Adam. Shishlo, a 22-your-old Shanghai Pole, the son of Dr. A. A. Shishlo, is being deported to Shang- hal to-morrow as a result of an' ineldent in a local pension yesterday. when he loudly. demanded of the proprietor why he had accommodat ed the Soviet Ambassador, M. Bogolemoff, to whom he referred in the most insulting terms.

M. Bogolomoff, hearing his name mentioned, camo downstairs only to be openly affronted by Shishlo.

Lator M. Bogolomoff drew the nt- tention of Mayor Shen Hung-leh to the matter, who ordered Shishlo's arrest.

Police officers set out and found Shishlo in the Tsingtao cafe, nt Strand Beach. They took him into custody. He will be escorted to a Shanghal-bound vessel leaving to- morrow. Reutor:

REPORTED SKIRMISH BUT NO GREAT HOSTILITIES

Peking, Aug. 2. According to well-informed Chi- nese sources, the Charhar situation to-day took a turn for the worse. Marshal Feng Yu-helang is report- ed to have issued a reply to the four proposals of Marshal Chiang Kal- In the Chinese press that some akirmishing is occurring between the Central Government troops and the Charhar troops and also that fifteen wounded soldiers have ar- rived. These reports, however, are subject to confirmation.--Router. shok and Mr. Wang C which reveals no change attitude.
