League tennis yesterday was confined to the matches in the "p" Division, which saw the defeat of the K.C.C. and Civil Service by I.R.C. and Recreio respectively.

The K.C.C. gave a poor account of themselves nt Sookunpoo. Though without D.S. and S. E. Green, and robbed of the services of Hambly and Rodger, this could not be advanced as, an excuse for the team's failure.

The steadiness of the I.R.C. pans was a notable feature of the match. A.. H. Rumjahn, and Madar had the distinction of win- ning all three sets. Extremely promising form was displayed by the Suffiad brothers, the youngest players in the team.
