EFFECT

Wtih the Bowling Green, Craigengower and Recreio,' all suffering defeats in the First Division, and the K.B.G.C. sic- ond string losing in the Second Division, there were enough sar- prises pulled out of hat in the Bowls League on Saturday to keep a conjurer interested.

The effect on the league tables was inconsiderable, except that Civil Service In 'both sections im- proved their positions and are now strong challengers in Division 2.

The Recreio 'definitely bade fore- well to their championships aspira- tions. In the senior section.
