SCOTT'S Emulsion *The protector of lifa

By Joan Savoy

No sooner have the spring bats bloomed on every bend than summer hats appear which make you wish you could change your headpiece immediately.

There are many blacks, many whites, many blues on deck. Brims come with warmer sun. And so do gleaming things. Your hat will be a veritable hale this summer in rough shiny straws, patent leather trimmings, cellophane braids, and all sorts of glamorous and other Tragile looking materials,

For the sophisticated woman there is a new little “high hat" made of shiny black cire straw, with a veil that flares down over your right eye and then stands up from the pleated little bon- *net. A gleaming rhinestone pin in pointed design, adds sophisticated touch in front.

For that all-white mode for suits and dresses that is coming your way this summer, there is a white organdle hat, with double-cussed gloves to match, made of the organdle. Black cfre ribbon, Inces up the bonnet and ties the wrists of the cuffs. In white pique, black patent leather serves these purposes,

This little ensemble has a youthfulness about it that is irresistible, Morcover, it carries. with it a certain freshness that will make everybody looking at you feel cool on the hottest day.

There's something feminine and charming about the combinations of pink and blue that women will wear this summer.

One hat of this new Frenchy duet of tones in a tea-rose pink straw with just the right shade of blue-organza trimming it. The blue organza makes an over-brim, a drooping, lifting brim it is too, and then the blue ribbon is pleated almost to cover the crown. It has that tailored look that is seldom found in a dainty dress hat-the kind women look for in yain usually.
