however, is that the negative dan- le may be employed with soveral different types of hands, as follows:

First, a very powerful hand; second, a hand in which you wish only to interfere with the oppo- nonts' bidding, a sort of a nuisance double, as he terms it; third, double that may mean nothing more than a lead-directing double,

If you double one major suit you muat definitely have support for the other major. If you dou- ble a minor ault, you should have support for both majors, but sure- ly you must have at least one good major.
