Gold bolts are seen on evening dresses, particularly pastel coloured ones, but with n dend white evening dress a bright red belt is preferred.
Belta in braided multi-coloured varnished cords look smart, und so do those of military gold galloon.
Sash belts are found in many houses, and coloured gashes-im- portant ones with enormous bows and ends-hang to the hems of both afternoon and evening dress05.

Linen suits are co-educational this year-both the boys and the girls about town will be wearing them.
For the man, there's a trig double-breasted model in white linen that takes and holds its press perfectly. It has the notched lapels men like and is both cool and handsome.
The girl's suit fa the new tweed linen, in natural colour, made with box-pleating in the skirt and a short, swagger jacket. With it a blue linen blouse la hand-made and has some hand- some novelty stitching in natural-coloured thread.
