Mr. Silva submitted that what Inspector Nicolls should have done was to stop the driver when he was speeding because if he had done so and had informed the driver that he would be summond, the defendant might have been able to produce independent wit nesses to speak on his behalf. As it was, Inspector Nicolls called defendant to his office the next day and told him that a Bummons would be taken out against him. The defence was hindered in that

The Competition is confined exclusively to amateur photographers.
2.-The Prizes will be awarded to the competitors sending in what are adjudged to be the best photographe in each Section, and which reach this Offee not later than 31st August, 1933. The decision of the Judges shall be final. 3. The right to publish any or all of the entries in the

4.-Photographs which have been nicendy entered in local
competitions are ineligible.
-At the conclusion of the Competition, entries will be returned to competitore on application at this Offles within Keven days.
