She Is Miss Mary Field, who made those mont famous of "do. cumentary" pictures, the "Secreta of Nature". She said that she bo Kan her career at London Univer alty studying Empire history and she wrote thesis on Imperial affairs. This led to her belag given a job in a British film studio, supervising the historien accuracy of the subtitles in a silent pleture. She liked the Alm studio so much that she stayed on even after her job had come to an end.

Miss Field has done practically everything there is to do in making a picture. She has been a "door secretary" to a producer, which means that she has trailed round studion all day with a scenario in one hand and a blue pencil in the other, trying to make sure that her Chief did not forget to film, one of the scenes.

She has written scenarios and aited films.
