Thursday witnessed the official opening of the new street Teh Lin Lu, named in honour of Marshal Li Chung-yen. Madame Li Chung- yen formally opened the street by cutting the silk ribbon, amid a din of firecrackers. This. new street was built at a cost of over $80,000. It is a part of the reconstruction programme and a credit to the city and the officials in charge.
