There are a large number of sympathisers with Japan, mostly Conservatives, and there is a large group whichi roundly condemn Japan, including all the Opposi»: Lion Labour M.P.8.
Those favouring an arms export embargo include all "the Labour Party, most of the Liberals and many from the Conservative Party.
The Conservatives, or many of them, strongly favour the principle of the embargo, though they re- cognise the practical difficulties except by international action.— Reuter,
