Rome, Feb. 18,

Great indignation has been aroused in Italy by the publica-| tion of a report in the Giornale| D'Italia, Mussolini's organ, from its Paris correspondent, alleging that France, with the adherence} of Britain, has sent Austria an unusually strong Note regarding Arms Movements.

It is stated that the Note was despatched as a result of the dis- covery made that a large number of rifles and machino-guns had been sent to the Austrian arms factory at Hirtenburg from Italy for re- conditioning.

The Paris correspondeht declares that the French Note voices the alle- gation that these arms were intend- ed for the accret arming of Aus- trian Fascista,
