WEEK-END SPORTS SEARCHLIGHT. BY "VERITAS”
THREE successes by the Borderers and a day of big scores, but few surprises, featured the return of local football on Saturday to a full league programme.
NO material changes were effected in any of the league
positions, except that the Royal Artillery moved to third place in Division 2, and St. Joseph's fading hopes of honours in the third division were completely extinguished by the Radio, who scored a magnificent victory.

ONE small point of interest is that
the Artillery have not conceded a point in Division 2 since Christmas Eve. They then lost to the florder- ers by 6 goals to 1, and had a league record of 32 goals for and 20 against. Since then they have won five games, scored an additional 20 gofts and conceded but
