A PLEASING, FUNCTION. FACING Wickets put up by the
A pleasing function took place at the Royal Hongkong Yacht Club on Saturday afternoon. when Chief Yeoman of Signala J.F, Kelsall, who has been the Oleint Time-kooper of the Club for the past two years, was the recipient of a silver cigaretto coac, presented to him by the Commodoro (Mr. A.L. Shields) on the occasion of His sailing for Homo on Saturday next.
In making the presentation, Mr. Shields' paid a warm tribute to the work done by Mr. Kelsall, and said that the Yacht Club had been very fortunate in having the services of Chlof Yeaman Kelsali and his pro decessors who had taken a keon" in- terest in the timing and working of handicaps. De hoped the cigarette case would be a souvenir of hin sojourn in the Colony, and that ho would revisit the Club if chapte should bring him again to the Chan Station.
Mr. Kelsall suitably replied,
