London, Jan. 8. According to a Rome mesange, three were killed And four seriously injured in a riot by 300 demonstrators in the Mey, villago hall, Monte San Giacomo, near Salerno, to-day.

Tho demonstrators first callo attention to public grievances and then attacked the police post in the village of Sassano with stones and shots. The police were forced to fire in self defence.-Our Own Correspondent.
