THE HONGKONG

CONTRACT BRIDGE

By W. E. McKenney One of the most pessimistle sign-off bids in the one over one system is a minimum re-bid of the

samo suit.

When a player is forced by his partner, and continually responds in the suit he first bid, he shows positively that his first bid was {ininimum and that he can neither support partner nor play no trump If partner proceeds with the blu dink, he must take the entire sponsibility for the result.
