Mr. Lo first asked: "With reference to my questions on the 9th December, 1930, the Head of the Sanitary Department's replies of the game day, my further questions on the 8th December, 1931, and the Hend of the Sanitary Department's replies of the same day, regarding Malaria and its prevention in Hongkong:

the of the Sanitary Board held on 18th February, 1930, is still under consideration by the Government and, in view of the fact that pro- visions have apparently now been made for the construction of a new Government Civil Hospital and for the extention of the Kowloon Hon- pital, whether any definite nouncement can be made as to how soon such infirmaries can be pro- vided?
Anti-Malarial Work. Mr. Lo put the following further question:
In regard to the following quotation which formed part of the lead of the Sanitary! Department's replies to my questions on the 8th Decem- ber, 1951, namely,-"A sum of $150,000 has been includ- ed for Anti-malarial works in the Estimates for 1382 and the Government Ja in consultation with the owners of property affected in cer- Lain of the areas with a view carly to commencing work next year"; can the lead of the Sanitary Department Hive any information to this Board as to whether, and if 50, what, Anti-malarial work has been effected
