CELEBRATED ENTERTAINERS VISITING HONGKONG Three celebrated Australian en- tertainers, John Priora, the Golden Voiced tener, David Bertini, the original Vagabond Violinist, and Harry Storey, famous planist, are visiting Hongkong under special engagement to the King's Theatre,

Appearing at the King's Theatre to-morrow, these three stars, whose names are known to nearly every Australian, will provide a delight ful interlude to the film programme.

David Bertini will be remember- cd by Australians as the Vagabond Violinist, who toured the entire continent some two or three years agu. He has no less than seven- teen letters to his name, viz:- A.L.C.M., L.L.C.M., L.A.B., R.C.M.- Leipzig and R.C.M.-Brussels,

He was a member of the Gwand- haus Orchestra at Leipzig, and dur- ing the Great War, formed orchestra at the British G. H. Q. at Montreuil-sur-mer, conducting it

up to the time he was injured in a serious flying crash, which left: him partially paralyzed for 16 months.

Under his pseudonym of "the Vagabond Violinlet Bertini holds the record for the longest run of any act on the Australian stage. Playing with the famous J. C. Williamson company he played for ninety-eight weeks in every thea-, tre of note. In the Commonwealth. Shanghai Praise.

The net by the three Australian stars was classed by independent Shanghai critics as the finest acen in the Northern city since Str Harry Lauder's visit some years ago. The trio, who have just com- pleted their fourth tour of Aus. tralla, are leisurely performing on route to England to completo many outstanding contracts.

John Priora is considered one of Australia's greatest tenors, and such is the versatility of this ar- tist that he has toured Australia as leading tenor with the Metropolitan Grand Opera Company on two occasions.

Harry Storey, the third member of the net has graced every plat form of note In Australia and is the essence of versatility. He was a member of the famous Gwand- haus Orchestra and he played at the Wagner Festival at Bayrouth In the "Ring des Neibelunven" under the great conductor, Felix Weigngartner.

It was Storey who was the back- bone of the famous "Thistles" Con- cert Party in France during the Great War, when he was attached

to the 9th. Scottish Division.
