ABDUCTION OF BOY FROM UP-COUNTRY VILLAGE

Two child-stealors, Taul Chan, aged 41, and his 10-year-old wife Wal Yuk-ein, were sentenced by the Police Magistrate, Mr. Schofield, at the Central Court yesterday after noon to Afteen months' hard labour on conviction of being concerned in the abduction of a 6-year-old boy Taui Ngok-tin from Chinese territory.

For the Police, Det. Sub-Ins pector Rozeakwy stated that the boy lived with his parents in Shtan Village, in the Nambol county of Chungshan. While playing in the street on October 81 last he disappeared.

It was discovered that he was last seen with the young woman Wai Yuk-sin, who about this time also disappeared from the village with her husband, the other de

fondant.
