JUDGE ESCAPES SACCO- VANETTI AVENGERS.

Worcester (Mass.), Sept. 27. A bomb explosion early to-day wrecked the home of Judge Web- ster Thayer, who five years ago sentenced to death Sacco and Van- zetti on a charge of murder.

The judge, who was asleep at the time of the explosion, escaped uninjured from the ruins of his buried under the debris, received house, but Mrs. Thayer, who wae severe cuts and suffered badly from shock. A girl employed in the house was also injured.

The whole city was shaken by the explosion, and neighbours who ran to the wrecked house found Judge Thayer groping. blindly about his wrecked bedroom.

When he recovered from the shock he said with a smile, "They can't kill me that easily.”
