O.A.G.'S FLIGHT

MR. AND MRS. SOUTHORN SEE COLONY FROM AIR

An inspection was made at the civil aerodrome at Kai Tak yuster- day afternoon by is. Excellency the Officer Administering the Gov- ernment, the Hon. Mr. W. T. Southern, C.M.G., who was accom- panied by Mrs. Southorn and his A. D. C.

After the inspection Mr. A. V. Harvey took one of the 'planes, an AW16, aloft, and high above the nerodrome, did a series of "stunts."

Later, His Excellency and Mrs. Southorn, at the invitation of Mr. Harvey, were taken for a flight over the city and the surround- ing country In the Cutty Sark Lamphibian.

But the Hon. Mr. and Mrs. Southern, on their return to the nerodrome, expressed themselves as delighted with their experience. It is understood that this is the first occasion that either the 0.A.G. or Mru. Southorn have flown' in aeroplane.

Frances Berrie, of Gwendolyn Sydney, Australia, became the iride of Mr. Alan Reld, son of Mr. and Mer. Iobert S. Reid, of Rich- mond, Surroy.

The bride was given away by Mr. A. H. Ferguson and looked charming in a dress of ivory satin, with bridal veil trimmed with orange blossoms. She carried bouquet of white Тояса and Honolulu creeper.
