VICIOUS ASSAULT
CHINESE STABBED AND
ROBBED OF $30
Bleeding profusely from dagger wounds on the hands, thigh, cheek and hip, Shiu Sau-san, 25, was found by Sergt. Hughes near Chai Wan Gap in the New Territories yesterday afternoon.
A story of treachery and mia- placed trust is related in the victim's account of the crime.
He was out of work, possessed of only $30, and his position in Sal Wan Hol village was becoming un- tenable. A man he had known in- vited him come to Chai Wan where work was to be found..
Shiu took his $30 and the pair set out. They were not far from Their destination when
Shiu's false friend attacked him with a piece of wood, striking him on the hend.
Then drawing a dagger from his clothes, he atabbed Shiu in the thigh. While the unfortunate man held up his arm to protect his face he received an incised wound on his right hand and a vicious slash on the cheek.
Wenk from the blow on the head, shock and loss of blood, he fell to the road unconscious.
Here he was found an hour later
