KWANTI RACE MEETING

SEASON OPENS AT FANLING

LIKELY PONIES AND RIDERS

WHAT TO FOLLOW

(By "Ringtail".)

One of the big features of the new season of the Fanling Hunt and Steeplechase which starte to-day at Kawont is the polley which has been determined to offer substantial cash prizes for hurdle and steeplechase winners Instead of cups as in previous years.

At this opening meeting there is also included in the programme -Volunteers Race and a Ladies Ilace, and it in the intention of the Stewards, if possible, to provide these races at to give subsequent meetings o as

members of the Volunteers a chance of learning a bit of horsemanshin and to give the many lady riders of the Colony a chance to ride cross-country. POOR SUPPORT.
