The exciting story tells how the young Lord Lebanon, Inst of a in of famous ancestors, is practically a prisoner at his country sent, Marks Priory, dominated by his cold, com- manding mother, ahout to force him into a loveless marriage. Marks Priory is the scene of two unexplain- ed murders by strangulation and an attempted third, that of Aisla, the financee of Lord Lebanon. The my- steries suggest many solutions to the detectives from Scotland Yard, who are misled by several upexplainable incidents. The fact that there is room the dowager Lady Lebanon flately refuses to open, further cum- plicates matters. The key to tho. secret of Marks Priory in ultimately yielded

up by the weak-minded Lebanon himself. The brenthiena climax to this unusual story is a Wallace master-stroke, It leave the onlooker spellbound, carriga hin along by its compelling intensity.

WHY NOT HAVE THAT EXTRA THIRD?

The natural laws of economics require an investor to secure the best return especially upon savings trust funds--consistent with safety.

The China Realty Company is one of the oldest (established more than 20 years) real estate companies in Shanghai with a steady successful record back of it.

Capital $5,000,000 fully paid in cash,

Businesss turnover 1931, $45,532,300 in land and mortgages only, which does not include manage- ment of estates, rent collections, insurance written. trustees for beneficial owners of property and sundry sources of income.

The Company are Realtors, not speculators in Real Estate.

The balance shoot as of Decombor 31, 1931 shows:-

CHINA REALTY

COMPANY

8% DEBENTURES

INCOME

8% INTEREST VS 6% INTEREST MEANS ONE THIRD MORE

The following extracts are taken from the Chairman's statement at the last annual Shareholders Meeting, February 20th, 1932.

"We feel that the Debenture holder from an investment standpoint, is just as much an interested partner of the Company as the Common Share- holder and is entitied to his just return on his investment, and by the figures given on the two years' working. I think we have amply proven that we were right that our Debenture holders receive eight per cent. interest instead of six per cent,"

"The most successful concerns of the future will be those who recognize this principle-that even banks will allocate to depositors a part of profits earned on their money over and above current rates of interests. As our balance sheets show, quite .plainly the proceeds from the sale of our deben-

tures is not used for the purchase of Real Estate, as we are not speculators, but for investment in first class mortgages, amply secured not only by the value of the property pledged as security, but as a further security the debentures constitute a first claim on the total assets of the Company. An analysis of the figures Involved shows that every debenture has behind it assets equal to three times its value."

"If after careful consideration of actual facts and figures you are receiving less than 8% upon your investments and/or savings, you are not using judgment but following old customs, believing.5% and 6% are current rates.

Wynne Gibson played her role so well in Jack Onkio's "The Gang Bus| ter," that the Paramount company assigned her to the cast his latest picture, "June Buon," which is now showing at the Uriental Theatre. In "The Gang Buster" Miss Gibson was the underworld queen who was "turned down" by her sweet- heart, William Boyd, "the big shot." In June Moon" she is seen as the pouting wife of Paul Sears, the song. writer who never seems to be able to make any money until Jack Oakle comes to the big town, loaded with his savings of $1,200.
