Hongkong Volunteer Defance Corps orders by Lleut.-Colonel L. G. Bird, D.8.0., O.B.E., Commanding Hongkong Volunteer Defence Corps.

Friday, Sept. 2.

i. Parades,

(a) Corps Band. The Band will parade every Friday in mufti at p.m. at Headquarters until further

notice.

(b) Battery, 1. There will be a parade for Signal Section, Battery Staff and Bdre. Laughton & Blian at 5.80 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6th. at Headquarters.

2. There will be a parade for everyone except Signallers and Staff on Thursday,

September 8th. at Headquarters at 6.10 p.m., sharp,

3. The Battery will fire annual musketry course at Stonecutters on Sunday, September 4th (repeated).

(c) Corps Signals. 1. Parade will be held at Corps Headquarters at 5.80 p.m. on Tuesday, 6th. Septem- bor and Friday, 9th September for Signalling Instruction.

2. Members of the Corpe Signals will fire their musketry course at Stonecutters on Sunday, September 4th.

Launch leaves Queen's Pier at 9 calling at Kowloon Police Pler 6.1. nt 9.10 a.m.

Dress: Mufti or uniform optional but rifles, bayonets and bandoliers must be taken.

(d) Armoured Car Section. Mon- day, 5th. September being a General Holiday there will be no parade.

The Section will parado at full strength in uniform on Monday, 12th. September at Headquarters at 5.30
