Sir Peter Grain, judge of H. M. Supreme Court, Shanghai, arrived in Hongkong by the Rajputana yes-]`- terday to be present for the alttings of the Full Court, commencing on Monday.

Well-known names in the local legal profession are connected with the two casca set down for hearing. Besides Sir Peter Grain, the Chief Justice, Sir Joseph Kemp and the Puisne Judge, Mr. Justice Wood will be on the bench.

Mr. Eldon Potter, K.C., Mr. F.C. Jenkin and Mr. H. G. Sheldon are among the counsel engaged.

The China Navigation Company and the Nippon Yusen Kalsha are parties to an appeal against the judgment of the trial judge who found in favour of the China Navigation Company, allowing them $40,000 damages and costs, in a collision auit.

The second case is an appeal by the French Bank of Commerco and Industry against an original judg- ment against them in a claim for ront due.
