Reduced Crews

Maintenance in Reserve of three heavy ship was foreshadowed by an Admiralty Floet Order shortly after the speech of the First Lord m the Naval Estimates, and the departure of HM. ships Ramillies and Repuls into reserve, and for repairs, in this in arendance with anticipation.

At the prment time IM, ships Barham and Itoval Sovereign are Royal in Reserve. When ILM.S. Soverein relieve: ILMS. Ramilien the reduction Foreshadowed will be enmplete.

The remaining heavy ships of The flome Fleet in commission are manuel with Four-fifths erews only, the heavy Reserve ships, if not undergoing repairs, having a 75 per cent, complement.
