DRAMATIC OPENING OF PROCEEDINGS

Sensational ovidenco Wan fore. shadowed at the Westminster Police court at the resumed hearing of the Barney case, when the Crown Prose cutor, Mr. Wallace, K, C, announced that in addition to the charge of the murder of Michael Scott Stephen, Mrs. Elvira Barney, who is the daughter of Sir John Mullens, and a well-known London Society woman, is to be charged with shooting ກ Stephen with Intent to do grievous bodily harm on May 19.
