The Director of Pubile Works has announced that on a date thai will be announced later an 1) hour supply of Altored water wif be provided under a new system of tapping the main trunk line ao as to serve 63 new fountains in Hongkong, from Kennedy Town to Shauk won and-29 in Kowloon and New Kowloon.

Under this. new arrangement the amount of water supplied through metera will be reduced but increased pressuro will perlodically be supplled so as to provide an improved service to upper floors and high pointa.
