In reporting on the Empire Products Fair, to be held at the Peninsula Hotel on May 23 and 24, the Hon. Mr. J. P. Braga, Chair- man of the Fair Sub-Committee, apoke of the hearty co-operation manifested on all handa, and stated that applications for space had come in to such др extent that, owing to limitations further allocutions could not be made.

The Opening Ceremony,

A feature of the opening cere- mony will be an Empire Tableau in which eight girls, attired in national costume, representing various parts of the Empire, will Participate.

Full detalls of the Fair pro gramme will be published in special advertisementa to appear Saturday. in the newspapers on The public is requested to look out for these detalls and to make a point of being present at what should be a most interesting func tion. Admission will be free, but teas will be served at a cost of one dollar per head. There will be many attractions during the open- ing day, including special music by the bands of H.M.S. Cornwall and of the Peninsula Hotel, At night, there will be a special Em- pire Day Gala in the Rose Room of the Hotel, when Empire menva will be served.

The Fair will reopen on Empire Day at 9 a.m. and continue until 6 p.m.

In addition to the Fair, there will be special Church services on Empire Day morning, while at 10.30 a.m. Girl Guides will lay a basket of roses Queen Vic- torin's statue, to which also the public may, if they wish, also send baskets of flowers.

In the afternoon, Mrs, Southorn is entertaining the Girl Gulden at Government House, while H. E. the General Officer Commanding will entertain Boy Scouts at Flag- staff House.

At 7 pm. the Hon. Sir Henry Pollock, K.C., will broadcast an the Government address from Studlo telling of the development of the Colony during his 44 years' residence here.

During the day, a loyal telegram will be sent to Her Majesty the Queen by the Empire Day Com- mittce.
