Donth has ended the long, netive and amazing career of Captain Robert Dollar, President of the Dollar Steamship Lines known the world over. A message received from Reuter's American Service last night, reports his death at San Rafael, Califoria, at the age of 88 years.
Captain Dollar was born in Falkirk, Scotland, in 1844. After finishing his school days at the age of eleven years he went to Canada and began his active, carcer at 13 years of age in a lumber camp.
