Under the writer's system of contract bidding, you will find very few original suit bids of two.

An original two-bid shows powerhouse hand and demands that partner keep the bidding open unt!!] a game-going declaration is arrived at even though he has a trickless hand; og, the original bidder bids two hearts. You, holding nothing, will respond with two no trump,

Partner then says three dia- monds. You are still required to keep the bidding open. If you can not support diamonds, bid three no trump. If partner then bids four clubs, you will have to either bid four no tramp or support one of the three suits he has named. Of courae, the naming of three sults in a very rare thing, but the ex- ample is given to show you that the bidding must continue until the final declaration is a game- going contract.

Requirements For Forcing Two-bid.

Original two no trump bids are not forcing bids and have been ex- plained in previous articles.

Original two of a suit bids must show & hand so strong that it con- tains five to six quick tricks. But oven this number of quick tricks
