Motoring is ceasing to be a pasta famous bullding through the time; it has become commercial, park gates. and but a method of transport.

Gono are the thrilling days when father invited you for a drive in his new car, and when breathlessly you accepted, donned a coat, vell, and goggles, and started off on an adventure.

No one goes for drives nowadays except invalids; the car is there as a means of conveyance, not as a delight in itself.

You also miss companionship. Conversation is imposabile if the driver, strained and alert, has his foot hard down on the accelerator.

"You all right?" he shouts very occasionally,

"Quite," replies his passenger, feeling lonely and unamused.

Content To Wander.

Of course, in that case the identity of the passenger hardly matters, but supposing she is very
