INQUIRY ENDS. The Marine Court of Inquiry into the collision between the s.s. Venezia and the A. Sui Tal. which opened yesterday, ended with a verdict in favour of Cap- tain Pritchard, the master of the Sui Tal. The Court held that he was entirely free from blame in the colliston, and that he had acted rightly in his manoeuvring operations.

Captain Thomas Pritchard, mas- ter of the. Sui Tai, said that h cast off the wharf at Macao at 2 p.m. on March 12. THE ANNUAL MEETING.

The annual meeting of the Hongkong and New Territories Evangeliantion Society was held at the Union Church Hall, Ken- nedy Read. Jaet evening, the Itev. E. G. Pawell presiding over a large

The Chairman..proposed the adoption of the report, and this was carried, Mr. Kwong Min-kwok seconding.

The adoption of the accounts was proposed by Rev. Frank Short and seconded by another member. This was also carried.

The Rev. Frank Short put the following resolution:

"That subject to the approval of the bodies concerned, the fune tions carried out hitherto by the combined Committee of the New So- Territories. Evangelisation cloty shall be transferred to the Sixth District of the Kwangtung Synod of the Church of Christ in Chinn."
