C. Fincher and L. Goldman entered the semi-final of the Open Doubles Champlonship_at_the exponse of II. A. Barros and F. J. Remedios, yesterday. The winners were not at any stage of the game fully extended, They and won in two straight sets, now meet the winners of the tle Ho Ka-lau and Yew Man-kit v. Luk Ding- cheong and Leo Wai-tong.

A feature of the match was the excellent work put in by Goldman, who smashed splendidly and brought of some low cross-court drives, which completely left the Portuguese pair standing. Fincher was the model of steadiness.
